| an open plan with living/dining family spaces with a bed room at the upper layer. it was quite a challenge to do this house as the budget was only 11 lakhs . low cost materials like thatch roof, hollow concrete blocks for walls were left unplastered. railing in casurina poles, the rafter to hold the sheet, the thatch above was done in neem wood. the flooring was done in clay tiles and cuddapah in general area and red oxide in rooms. the internal court becomes the focus of the house. the court is covered by neem wood pergolas and mesh. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
