| sedgemoore was built between 1905 and 1912 falls within the vernacular mould of the "neilghery buildings.". the original house though in a family livable state, had very dim by gloomy interiors so much so the kaitans had not used the house in over 20 yrs.
all that the existing spaces needed was a little work and imagination to transform it. by lifting the bedrooms to the upper level, the organization of spaces was complete in the good views and vistas. outdoor connection were constantly harmonized with internal area. all the doors and windows and the roofing system was reused. metal work pointed green, ochre hues and sky light add light color to the house. |
